Rebates
Medicare will rebate up to 10 sessions under a mental health care plan per calendar year. After completion of six sessions, you will require a review of the care plan with your referring Doctor and if they deem appropriate you will be eligible for a further four sessions.
Private health insurance rebates may be available to you depending on your level of cover, please contact your health insurer to find out if you are eligible.
If consultations are conducted face to face there are EFTPOS and HICAPS facilities available for ease of payment and claiming rebates.
Video/ tele conference consultations:
rebates can be claimed by the client/parent via the Medicare website. You do not need a referral unless you want to access a Medicare rebate
if eligible, please discuss with your GP or treating specialist.
Late cancellation fee:
At Thriving Connections, we understand that unexpected circumstances arise in life however if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please email info@thrivingconnections.com.au with at least 48 hours notice otherwise a cancellation fee will apply. You are not entitled to any Medicare rebates on this fee.
